Today more than ever, endangered species need our help.  Previous protections, habitats, and knowledge are all being rapidly lost.  While we do everything we can on our own land to help conserve and protect wildlife, we want to do more.  This is what led us to create our endangered species jewelry collection; an ever-growing assortment of unique pieces that give back to foundations that are actively helping these important species.

The Karner Blue Butterfly is found in oak savannas and pine barrens from the northern mid-west to the north Atlantic coast.  Its host plant is the native wild lupine (Lupinus perennis)the only plant that the caterpillars of this species can eat.  Habitat loss due to excessive land clearing for development and climate change are the main factors impacting this species.

Our Karner Blue Butterfly inspired earrings feature delicate Japanese glass seed bead fringe highlighting the various blue and orange markings of this amazing butterfly.

10% of all sales of our Karner Blue Butterfly pieces will be donated to The Nature Conservancy.  Read more about how they are helping this species here.

You are purchasing a piece of handmade jewelry. When you purchase handmade artisan goods, you're embracing the unique charm of human touch—subtle imperfections and individual character that mass-produced, machine-made items simply lack.
